Both the tablet and the dispenser are equipped with an internal battery, allowing the system to operate for some time even during power outages.
The tablet is powered by an 1.7Ghz QuadCore equipped with a 8″ 1280×800 IPS display with 800:1 contrast ratio and a viewing angle of 170° both vertical and horizontal for optimal readability even in direct sunlight.
The shell is made of metal and aluminum, rated IP65 and mounted on a small pillar with a swivel head that allow for a precise orientation of the thermal detection system both vertically and horizontally.
The camera system (3) is equipped with a 50~150cm auto-focus, AWB (Automatic White Balance), LED flood light (4) and dual IR (Infra-Red) arrays for compensation (2).
The thermal sensor (1) can detect the temperature on the user’s forehead from up to 1 m (optimal distance 0,5 m) and it has a working temperature range is 10°~42° C with a precision of ± 0,5C.

Once the temperature has been detected (≤ 1 second) the result is immediately reported to the user in three ways:
– on the display
– with the top LED flood light in green or red
– through the integrated 2,5W speaker.
This makes the system suitable even for the visually and/or hearing impaired.
The sanitizing solution dispenser has a capacity of up to 2.000 doses. The sanitizing solution level can be detected through the apposite window (1), placed on the front side of the dispenser and identified by the hand-with-drops icon.
There is also an LED (2) that briefly lights up every time the solution is dispensed signaling the sanitizing solution’s level left in the tank: green if there is enough solution or red is the level is low.
The dispenser can be easily refilled: just rotate counterclockwise the top black switch to unlock the dispenser’s container and tilt it downwards and you’ll have access to the sanitizing solution tank.
The dispenser is equipped with an IR (Infra-Red) sensor (1) for automatic no-touch dispensing of the sanitizing solution. The IR sensor is placed on the bottom side of the dispenser, toward the main pillar.
This assures that when the IR detects the presence of the user’s fingers, the palm of his hand will be right under the dispenser’s nozzle (2) and not even a single drop of the sanitizing solution will be wasted or poured to the floor.
On the right side of the sanitizing solution dispenser there is a switch that activates (2) or deactivates (1) the sanitizing solution dispenser.
On the same side there’s also the power inlet (3) used to recharge the dispenser’s internal battery which guarantees the full functionality of whole system (the thermal scanner and the no-touch sanitizing solution dispenser) even where there are power outages, as long as the batteries last.
The system is CE and RoHS2 Certified, which means that is compliant with all applicable European health, safety, performance and environmental requirements and with the Directive 2011/65/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).
The restricted substances are:
Pb (Lead) – Hg (Mercury) – Cd (Cadmium) – Cr 6+ (Hexavalent Chromium) – PBDE (PolyBrominated Diphenyl Ethers) – PBB (Polybrominated Biphenyls)
